The HRIS Senior Analyst will support Human Capital Management (HCM) and reporting modules within Workday. They will also investigate system issues including root cause analysis and resolution and provide associate centric support.

This position is a 3 day hybrid position based out of our Headquarters located in Northbrook, Illinois

A day in the life as HRIS Senior Analyst…

  • Create and maintain organizational data structures within Workday
  • Lead requirements gathering in collaboration with internal HR and HR COE teams
  • Build advanced and matrix reporting, dashboards and hubs to support Organizational needs
  • Lead harmonization, configuration and testing of business processes
  • Design, configure and test Time Off Plans and Accruals
  • Design, configure and test Benefits include Open Enrollment, ACA, Benefit Plans, and Enrollment Rules
  • Configure Talent and Compensation Templates and Processes
  • Configure and administer security
  • Identify and deliver enhancements supporting strategic priorities
  • Perform audits of various datasets to ensure HR data integrity and efficient processing of HR data; develops business rules to validate data to maintain ongoing data integrity
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation, written, verbal and video
  • Train clients on new processes/functionality as well as train new system users as needed

What you’ll bring to the table…

  • Demonstrated ability to configure Workday
  • Proven ability to partner with HRIS vendors, HR Directors, COEs and SMEs to collect information and assess needs for appropriate elevation to resolve issues, troubleshoot problems
  • Possess analytical and technical skills with a good understanding and working knowledge of Human Resources operations with attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills to manage input from cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Aptitude to exercise judgment and independently determine prioritization and take appropriate action within defined HR policies and procedures

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6 years of HRIS, HR, Payroll, and/or Finance experience
  • 3 years of Workday configuration experience is a must; Workday Pro certification a plus
  • 2 years experience with Workday reporting including Advanced and Matrix reporting, Dashboards, and Hubs
  • Proficiency in at least two (2) of the following modules: Benefits,
  • Advanced Compensation, Time Off, Talent, LMS, or Payroll
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel
